I believe every patient is unique and has a story to tell. Every patient deserves to be educated about their particular situation, and we take the time to do that. Your healthcare professional should treat the entire body and mind, not just the area of injury. I strive to give each patient an individual experience and empower them to help themselves improve. Further, I encourage them to continue to keep in touch as their movement specialist and a part of their healthcare/performance “team.”
A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF...
I've always had a passion for orthopedics and sports, having grown up playing multiple in high school and college. I've continued to express that passion in my career, having worked entirely in the sports/orthopedics world. I believe in a hands on approach to rehab, with advanced study in Maitland, Mckenzie and Mulligan manual therapy techniques. I am certified through the Titleist Performance Institute, a leader in golf rehabilitation/performance.
Having worked with adolescents, weekend warriors and college/professional athletes, I understand the challenges our patients face every day during their rehab. Recently, I've gained experience working in Pilates based rehab, including the use of the Reformer and Cadillac equipment. I am currently working towards completion of my Board Certified Orthopedic and Sports Specializations as well as becoming a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist through the Maitland Institute. When not in the clinic, I enjoy golfing, hiking, traveling, spending time with family/friends and am an avid sports fan/participant.
